JEVS at Home’s roots stem from a non-profit agency, JEVS Human Services, which has been serving consumers in the Philadelphia region since 1941 by providing employment, training, residential, home, and community-based services. In 2012, due to changes in Pennsylvania state regulations, JEVS at Home was created as a separate, independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. This enabled JEVS at Home to continue to provide exceptional home care support to individuals who requested to stay within the JEVS community.
Who We Are
JEVS at Home is a registered 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization providing non-medical home care, respite, companionship and community integration support services to disabled and aging clients, ages 18+, residing in Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery, Chester, Bucks and Allegheny Counties in Pennsylvania. A large portion of the people we serve is part of a Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Waiver Program. These waiver programs are available throughout Pennsylvania and provide long-term care services to qualified individuals who wish to remain in their home and/or community rather than enter an institution, such as a nursing home or intermediate care facility. JEVS at Home also provides services to individuals through Long Term Care Insurance, private pay, and other funding arrangements.
To enhance the independence and quality of life of the individuals we serve by providing high-quality home care with a dedicated and caring staff.
