We’re proud to recognize four outstanding caregivers for their compassion, reliability, and dedication. Congratulations to Lorpu, Karen, Nikki, and Nora, our Caregivers of the Month for March through June 2025!
March – Lorpu
Lorpu was nominated by Shayna Jackson, Senior Client Care Manager in our Philadelphia office. Shayna shared these kind words from the wife of one of Lorpu’s longtime clients:
“My husband is a young man with several brain conditions that affect his speech and thinking. From the start, Lorpu connected with him and knew exactly how to care for him. Even though he can’t speak, she understands his needs and clearly loves what she does. For over three and a half years, she has helped us every day and become part of our family. We’re very grateful for her.”
April – Karen
Karen was recognized by our Central PA team in Gettysburg for her deep commitment to clients and the positive example she sets. She came to caregiving after recovering from a serious illness, which she says gave her a new sense of purpose.
Karen’s own health journey helps her connect with clients on a personal level. Her empathy, strength, and professionalism continue to inspire everyone around her.
May – Nikki
Nikki was named Caregiver of the Month by our Pittsburgh office. Sherrie Durr, Associate Director of Client Care, had high praise:
“Nikki shows the dedication and compassion that define JEVS Care at Home. She’s a strong advocate for her clients, always making sure their voices are heard and their needs are met. Her commitment to high-quality care sets a powerful example.”
June – Nora
Nora was honored by our Philadelphia team for her outstanding work with a longtime client facing serious health challenges. The client was worried her declining health would make it harder to stay connected to her faith.
Nora not only provided excellent physical care, but also supported the client’s spiritual well-being. She made time at the beginning and end of each shift so the client could pray. By honoring what mattered most to the client, Nora brought peace and joy to both the client and her family, who described Nora as a vital part of their mother’s happiness.
Thank You, Caregivers
Lorpu, Karen, Nikki, and Nora, many thanks for the heart, skill, and care you bring to your work every day. You make a lasting difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
