United Way 2-1-1

2-1-1 is the number to call for information on health and human services. Sponsored by United Way, it is a great resource for information ranging from utility payment assistance, to transportation options for people with disabilities, to regional disaster preparation. Phones are staffed 7 days a week, from 8AM-8PM.

Philly 3-1-1

Are you a Philadelphia resident, or do you work in the city? Philly 3-1-1 is the City of Philadelphia’s non-emergency contact center for information on topics ranging from how to get a new smoke detector to filing unsafe residential condition reports. The call center is open M-F 8AM-8PM except for City holidays.
