Veggies and Dip With Hummus
Hummus recipe:
- 1 can of chickpeas (Drain liquid and save for blending hummus)
- ½ cup of Tahini (Note: Tahini is an underutilized spread! Made of sesame seeds, it’s heart healthy and delicious)
- ¼ cup of olive oil
- Garlic cloves: to taste
- Lemon juice: to taste
- Paprika and herbs for garnish
Add chickpeas, tahini, olive oil and garlic to mixer, then add chickpea liquid until you like the consistency. Add lemon juice and paprika to taste. Add with chopped raw veggies and enjoy!
- 2 heads of cauliflower, chopped
- 1 cup of sliced almonds toasted
Add olive oil and any desired spices, bake at 500 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-30 minutes – until edges of cauliflower are nicely browned.
